Dr. Samia signed her new book at Sharjah Book Fair

The Chair of Public Relations (Arabic Section) Dr. Samia Hashim signed her new book New Media and Public Relations at the 2019 Sharjah Book Fair. Dr. Thoraya Al-Sanousi co-authored this book with Dr. Hashim. The book New Media and Public Relations is a valuable text that deals with the use of modern communication technologies -- and the Internet -- in the field of public relations. It is a book prepared for students studying in the faculties of information and communication who intend to specialize in the field of public relations.

Mrs. Razan Takash (AUE Assistant Professor of Media and Mass Communication) with her students in a field visit to Middle East Broadcasting Corporation  Studios in Dubai Studio City. CMMC students participated in the second students' forum of Al-Qasimia University in Sharjah under the supervision of Dr.Walaa Fouda, With a paper presentation on media freedom and cultures' changes. Al-Qasimia University, headed by Dr. Rashad Salem, invited students of the Media College of the American University in the Emirates to participate in the Student Forum with an important point in the field of media research.  The students performed in the presentation a very impressive performance and they were honored as they received certificates of appreciation and Dr. Wala Fouda received the Qasimia University Trophy in appreciation of her efforts in the external student activity.
